Request a PVD coating quote

Tell us the material, the finish and roughly how many pieces. The more you can give us here, the closer the first quote will be.

ESSVEE enquiry

Before you request a PVD coating quote.

Most enquiries come back to us with the same three questions, so it saves a round of email if you can answer them up front. A PVD coating quote depends on the substrate, the finish and the size of the batch, and none of those can be guessed from a photograph.

What material is the part?

PVD bonds best to stainless steel, and grade matters. We coat 304 and 316 routinely. If the piece is mild steel, brass or aluminium, tell us and we will say honestly whether PVD is the right answer or whether you are better off with another process.

How big is the largest piece?

The chamber sets the limit. Give us the length, width and depth of the single largest item and we will confirm whether it fits in one run or needs to be split.

How many pieces?

A one-off sample and a batch of two hundred are priced very differently. A rough number is enough at the enquiry stage.

Can we see a sample first?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Colour on a swatch and colour on your own material are not always the same thing, particularly across gold and champagne gold.

Working hours
Monday to Saturday, 9:30am to 6:30pm. Closed Sunday. We reply to enquiries on working days.

What happens after you send the form.

We read it and come back with questions

Usually only one or two, and usually about size or substrate. We would rather ask than assume and price the wrong thing.

You get a price and a timeline

Both together. A price without a timeline is not much use when you are working to a site programme.

We prepare a sample if you want one

On your own material where possible. This is the step that prevents disappointment later, and we recommend it on anything going into a visible interior.

The batch runs and gets checked

Every batch is inspected for colour consistency against the reference before it leaves the workshop.
